| 2025-11-08 05:00:00+00:00 | NY | An Asian man and 3 Asian female friends were randomly attacked by a group of young yt males in NYC | On Nov 8th Saturday night around 2:30 AM, my 2 girl friends, 1 guy friend and I were headed home from a night out in Lower manhattan. We took a cab ride home and during the ride, my guy friend felt sick. Naturally he got out the cab as we waited inside to throw up. While he was throwing up a group of 10+ boys walked by. As they walked by they began harassing our friend. We didn’t notice until it escalated to physical assault. The moment we noticed one of the girls didn’t think twice and jumped out the cab to intervene. The moment she jumped I jumped too. We physically tried to place ourselves in front of our friend forming a barrier to try to extract him. It was no use they held on to him repeatedly slapping and punching him in the face. At that point I knew it was necessary to document the assault as much as I could while protecting my friend. The situation continued to escalate, they called us slurs (n-word, f-word) and how they told us they hated Chinese people (we were all Asian) then they spat on us, poured their beer on us and yelled death threats at us. Eventually we were able to get out of the situation, back in our cab called the police immediately and filed the police report upon immediately arriving at home. Our friend was then checked out by the EMT and is okay. | https://www.instagram.com/p/DRATHZujSyk |

| 2025-10-11 04:00:00+00:00 | ONLINE | I love Hitler’: Leaked messages expose Young Republicans’ racist chat | William Hendrix, the Kansas Young Republicans’ vice chair, used the words “n--ga” and “n--guh,” variations of a racial slur, more than a dozen times in the chat. Bobby Walker, the vice chair of the New York State Young Republicans at the time, referred to rape as “epic.” Peter Giunta, who at the time was chair of the same organization, wrote in a message sent in June that “everyone that votes no is going to the gas chamber.” The group used slurs against Asians, too. “My people built the train tracks with the Chinese,” Walker says at one point, referring to his Italian ancestors. “Let his people go!” Maligno responds. “Keep the ch--ks, though.” | https://www.politico.com/news/2025/10/14/private-chat-among-young-gop-club-members-00592146 |
